CO-CREATOR OF THE JUSTICE LEAGUE OF AMERICA MIKE SEKOWSKY'S AMAZING BODY OF COMIC BOOK ARTWORK !!!

Mike Sekowsky was one of the first comic book artists I admired and followed, especially with him working on TV tie-in comics, in the Silver Age which I followed voraciously.

Versatile, Mike worked for just about all the comic book publishers providing artwork for a wide variety of genres. His portfolio is huge, it's amazing the body of his work.

Sekowsky co-created the Justice League of America (with legendary writer Gardner Fox) and went on to draw issues #1 through #149 (with a few gaps in there.) Incredible!! Even came across some early issues available on Kindle.

Other comic books he drew for at DC Comics were Inferior Five #1-#6, Adventure Comics #397 (Supergirl), Wonder Woman #171-#199 (with a stunning Jeff Jones cover) & Showcase #66 featuring B'wana Beast.

Mike worked on TV tie-in comics for Dell & Gold Key Comics, Peter Gunn, Man from U.N.C.L.E. #6-#22 (early issues by Don Heck) & Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea #1 (also had early issues by Don Heck.)

Sekowsky great artwork carried through on T.H.U.N.D.E.R. Agents #1-#20, Dynamo #1, #2, NoMan PB (loved those mass market paperbacks), Undersea Agent #2, #3 & Mentor PB (one of the first superheroes to actually die in comic books) for Tower Comics.

For Atlas Comics, he produced art for Ironjaw (followed up by Pablo Marcus) as well as some war & western comics.

At Archie (Red Circle) Comics, he drew Mighty Crusaders #2 & #7, Fly Man #34, High Camp Superheroes PB (with Paul Reinman.)

Finally, for Harvey, he drew features in Unearthly Spectaculars #2 (Jack Q. Frost.)

Immensely talented, Mike Sekowsky worked in comic books, leaving a great legacy. He went on to finish out his career at Hanna/Barbera, primarily on Scooby-Doo.

Thank you Mike Sekowsky, for your amazing breath of comic book artwork.

Live Large.

Thank you for your time.
