My favorite Quinn (The Fugitive) Martin Production was The Invaders! Gold Key continued the TV show with original stories in their four issue comic book series.

The Invaders opening!

"The Invaders! In Color!

Beings from a dying planet!

The Invaders, alien beings from a dying planet. Their destination: the Earth. Their purpose: to make it their world.

David Vincent has seen them.

For him, it began one lost night on a lonely country road, looking for a shortcut that he never found. It began with a closed deserted diner, and a man too long without sleep to continue his journey.

It began with the landing of a craft from another galaxy.

Now David Vincent knows that The Invaders are here, that they have taken human form. Somehow he must convince a disbelieving world that the nightmare has already begun."

Roy Thinnes, the actor portraying David Vincent, even played a reoccurring role on the X-Files and gives a great story of how it came to be in one of the personal introductions on each episode on the DVD set.

An unusual news broadcast sends David Vincent on a new adventure in his search for the Invaders!

Man, sure wish I still had this model! Keep hoping for a reissue!

I've even included a picture of the scale model out there of the alien spacecraft.

Be sure to watch the intros to each episode!
I'm thoroughly enjoying the two seasons on DVD. The introductions by Roy Thinnes are priceless!

Thank You!
