INHERITING THE SECRET IDENTITY OF - THE DREAMWALKER !!!

CIA head Allus decides his best operative, Joshua McGann, has become undependable, and orders him killed. McGann strikes back by blackmailing Allus into leaving him alone. McGann's father & step-mother are killed on the orders of Sangiacomo, who she was trying to put away. Joshua discovers his father had been a costumed vigilante before WW2, and decides to inherit his secret identity. One mob witness is killed, and the other, Andrea Beck, is forced not to testify when her mother is kidnapped. Joshua becomes romantically involved with Andrea, then discovers the assistant D.A. is working with Sangiacomo!

The Dreamwalker manipulates the mobster into killing the crooked D.A., and admitting it to the police allowing them to finally nail him for murder. Back home, Joshua is attacked by CIA agents, and at a meeting with his former boss, comes to an uneasy alliance.

Marvel Graphic Novel: The Dreamwalker
"The Dreamwalker"
CIA head Allus decides his best operative, Joshua McGann, has become undependable, and orders him killed.
Cover by Gray Morrow.
Written by Miguel Ferrer & Bill Mumy with art by Gray Morrow.
Complex story reads more like a film script than a typical comic book. Artist Gray Morrow apparently based several characters in this story on known celebrities, including Jose Ferrer, James Stewart, Peter Strauss, Jackie Gleason, Bruce Lee and Dean Martin.

Paul Gulacy's marvelous Sean Connery & Marlon Brando!

Gulacy did some of the best take-offs of Bruce Lee.

I always enjoyed it when Paul Gulacy would also base characters in the Master of Kung Fu on celebrities, including Marlon Brando, Sean Connery and Bruce Lee.

Live Large My Friends!

Thank You!
Gray Morrow does Bruce Lee!
