One of my favorite Gold Key comic book series was based on the TV show The Invaders starring Roy (The Psychiatrist, The X-Files) Thinnes, about one man's crusade to convince people that an advance guard of alien creatures had infiltrated the world's population and were preparing to conquer Earth.

Invaders, alien beings from a dying planet. Their destination: Earth. Their purpose: To make it their world.

David Vincent has seen them, for him it began one lost night on a lonely country road, looking for a short cut that he never found. It began with a closed deserted diner, and a man too long without sleep to continue his journey.

It began with the landing of a craft from another galaxy. Now, David Vincent knows that the Invaders are here, that they have taken human form. Somehow he must convince a disbelieving world that the nightmare has already begun.

The Invaders #3  They're Here! They're Attacking! Shout the Alarm! The Moon Tilters!
Interior front cover features three closeup photos of actor Roy Thinnes as the character David Vincent.
"The Moon-Tilters"
David Vincent battles an Invaders plot to make the waters rise and drown the Earth. The Invaders spaceship used was of a different design, not the usual style featured in the television series.
Written by the prolific, Guinness Book recognized Paul S. Newman with art by Dan (Green Hornet, Space Family Robinson) Speigle.

There was no interior back cover feature or back cover pin-up for The Invaders #3. I missed it when Gold Key discontinue these items.

Here are the features from The Invaders #3.

Live Large My Friends!

Thank You!

The logo was fantastic, befitting the genre.

The infamous death of an invader.
